As a business consultant, it never ceases to amaze me how many 'leaders' forget that they and their staff are human and begin to demand more of themselves and more of their staff than is possible, leading to the destruction of the team. Great article. Thanks for writing.

It is true leadership really comes down to how well you communicate a vision how transparent you are and how much people trust you first before you can influence them. People can see when you are fake or are not really passionate about what you are talking about or have an ulterior motive. Build relationships, have fun, and be visible to be a leader and remember that everyone is a person just like you.
